I went through the editing workflow lessons they were easy to follow. I did end up picking up a few solid habits, especially around culling photos and doing color work, which made it feel worth it. That said, there were a couple moments where I felt like things dragged on longer than they needed to. Overall, not bad at all, I just would’ve liked it to be a bit more direct and get to the point faster.

the site was really easy to move around in. i found my workshops quickly, and the videos loaded without any issues. there weren’t any confusing menus or extra hassle, so i could just learn whenever i had some time.

I’m still new to photography, so I liked that the lessons were mostly easy to follow. A few sections moved a little faster than I expected, but I just paused and watched them again, so it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, I’d say it’s a good option for beginners, especially if you’re okay taking your time with it...

I’ve been using SLR Lounge for a few weeks now, it’s been a easy experience. Logging in hasn’t given me any issues, the pages load quickly enough, and I can get back into my lessons without dealing with annoying errors or delays.
The videos have played smoothly for me on both my laptop and phone, which I really appreciate. If I pause a lesson and come back later, it usually picks up without fuss. For a learning site, that kind of reliability matters, and I’d say it’s been solid value so far.

The instructors really know their stuff (which makes a big difference). They explain things clearly and make it feel easy to ask questions without feeling awkward.

I’ve had a good experience with it overall. The content itself is solid, and if you already know what you’re looking for, it’s useful. That said, the modules feel a little scattered at times, so depending on how you like to learn, it might take some extra effort to follow everything in order

The group was helpful and a few peers gave me good advice, but the replies took longer than I expected sometimes. Not a huge deal, just kinda slow here and ther.

I tried the lighting lessons on SLR Lounge i mostly remember the basic setup videos because those were the ones that actually clicked for me. A few parts were explained really clearly, and I did pick up some useful little tricks. Some of the other videos kind of blur together in my mind though, either they felt rushed or went on longer than they needed to for what was being shown. I was hoping for a bit more step-by-step practice, especially with the lighting examples. It wasn’t bad at all, just more average than I expected.

I was already shooting weddings before taking this, so I wasn’t totally starting from scratch or anything. But the more advanced sections actually helped me a lot, especially with fixing lighting issues quicker and posing people without overthinking it so much. A few lessons I had to rewatch because, I don’t know, some parts didn’t fully click the first time. But after going through it, my edits felt cleaner and my client shoots just felt more solid overall

It feels well made without being too polished or distracting. That said, I did feel a little ignored when I had a question and didn’t really get any response, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I’m still happy with it.

Had a small issue logging in one afternoon, right when I was trying to check something before making coffee. I reached out to support and they got back to me really fast. No annoying back and forth or repeating the same info, they just fixed it and I was able to get in again. Happy with how easy it all was.
